FLOURISH YOGA CLASSES

floHOT60

Get lost in the movement and music during this 60-minute, all levels, heated sequenced yoga class that utilizes both static postures and flow sequence. This class will increase strength, flexibility, endurance, and an overall sense of balance in the mind and body, all while producing a detoxifying sweat. Please hydrate prior to class. A towel and water are highly recommended. Heated to 105 degrees with 60% humidity.

floPOWER

Set to music, this powerful, energetic, 60-minute flow yoga class will enhance stamina, flexibility, posture, balance, and mental focus by linking breath to movement in a warm room. This class is thoughtfully designed to leave you feeling relaxed, open and strong. Arm balances and inversions may be offered in class. Modifications will always be offered so that you can practice at your own level. In this class, we sweat out what we don’t need and replace it with everything we want, peace, serenity, and balance. Heated to 90-95 degrees with 50% humidity.

floWARM

Set to music, this all-levels yoga flow class allows you to get out of your head and into your body by linking breath with movement in a lightly heated room. Notice how calm the mind can become when you move fluidly from one pose to the next. You will strengthen your body, improve your flexibility and leave with a calm state of mind. Modifications will always be offered to meet the needs of your practice. Lightly heated to 85-90 degrees with light humidity.

floYIN

Non-heated, 60 minute, all levels, slow paced class that is relaxing to the body and mind. You will begin to heal injuries, increase circulation to joints, release tense muscles and create flexibility in the body. Postures are done mostly on the floor and are held from 3 to 5 minutes in length. This is a perfect compliment to a regular hot yoga practice or any other type of physical activity. This therapeutic class will use blankets, straps and blocks to support your body while you slowly deepen into your pose. Props will be provided.

floVINYIN

Non-heated, 60 minute, all levels class combining the dynamic movement of Vinyasa and the stillness of Yin. Class begins with a mindfully-paced Vinyasa flow to build strength and a deeper connection with breath, body, and mind. Practice then transitions to Yin poses (held 3-5 minutes) to ground, increase flexibility and joint mobility.

floYIN+SOUND

Non-heated, 75 minute, all levels, slow paced class that is relaxing to the body and mind. You will begin to heal injuries, increase circulation to joints, release tense muscles and create flexibility in the body, all while nourishing your soul with healing sound. Postures are done mostly on the floor and are held from 3 to 5 minutes in length. This therapeutic class will use blankets, straps and blocks to support your body while you slowly deepen into your pose. Simultaneous to the long yin holds, singing bowls, chimes, gongs, rattles and various other ceremonial music will be used to accentuate the experience and encourage release. Props provided.

floKIDS

Ages 5-11 only. This kids yoga class will include yoga-based movement, mindfulness, breathing and relaxation activities. They will have an opportunity to explore mindful movement through storytelling and yoga games. They will learn various breathing techniques for relaxation and practice short meditations to improve peacefulness. This class will provide kids with tools to cope with various stresses and emotions they experience in their everyday lives.
